Can you Learn Magic Online?

Stepping into the realm of magic online begins with a foundational practice: meditation. A key element of learning magic, meditation serves as the pathway to connect with the various energies that form the basis of magical practice.

Meditation creates the necessary quietness in your mind to tune into your intuition and heighten your sensitivity to energies. This is crucial in magic because it's all about harnessing and directing energies according to your intentions.

Rebecca F.: "The Meditations of the 5 Elements introduced a holistic perspective to my self-care routine. By engaging deeply with each element, I've experienced a beautiful symphony of balance and peace within. This module has taught me to harmonize my inner world with the outer, leading to a tranquil and centered existence."

So, how can you kick-start this journey?

Step 1: Understand the Importance of Meditation in Magic

Meditation is not just an optional add-on to the practice of magic; it is a core element. It aids in developing self-awareness, tranquility, and concentration—skills indispensable in successful spell work. It can be seen as the basic training needed to unlock and develop magical skills.

Step 2: Start a Regular Meditation Practice

Consistency is key. It's advisable to meditate daily, even if only for a few minutes. Regular meditation cultivates mental discipline and clarity, both vital for magic practice.

Step 3: Incorporate Visualization Techniques

Visualization is a powerful tool in magic, and meditation is the perfect time to practice it. Start by picturing simple objects or scenes, and as your mind becomes more skilled, you can begin visualizing more complex magical symbols or outcomes.

Step 4: Explore Guided Meditations

There are numerous guided meditations available online specifically tailored for magical practice. These can be especially useful for beginners, as they provide a structured pathway to follow.

Step 5: Connect with a Magical Community

Joining an online community of like-minded individuals can be incredibly supportive. You can share experiences, ask questions (when you reach the appropriate level), and learn from more experienced practitioners.

Step 6: Begin Basic Spell Work

Once you feel comfortable with your meditation and visualization techniques, you can move on to trying basic spellwork. Remember, magic is about intent and directing energy, so stay focused on your goals and be patient with yourself.

Learning magic online, starting with meditation, is a rewarding journey that requires patience, discipline, and openness. Take one step at a time, immerse yourself in the process, and let your spirit guide your way.

In this introduction we are going to discuss how this first module works, what benefits will you get from the module, how to proceed, when to perform it, How many times and how long.

We will take a look at each of the separate classes in the module and explain the details about each one.

Thomas W.: "Embarking on the journey through the Meditations of the 7 Olympic Spirits has been nothing short of life-changing. Each spirit, particularly Phaleg's empowering energy and Ophiel's deep wisdom, has contributed to profound personal growth. I feel more in tune with my inner self and ready to embrace life's complexities."

Now let’s start with the introduction of the Terra Incognita program of Magic

The goal of the program is to teach you all about magic, the same magic we are using for decades now and has proven to be very efficient and fast working if you compare it with other types of magic. We use this special way of magic to create amulets, power rings, perform rituals, bind and manipulate energies and so much more.

The complete program has 16 modules as you can see in the description of this video and the first module is without a doubt the most important one. This module will lay the foundation for all your further practice as a disciple of Terra incognita.

This module must be completed before advancing to the next one and you will benefit from it almost immediately after you start practicing the lessons in it.

The module has 13 main guided meditation lessons that will create an increased awareness and sensibility for the energies you will be working with in all the next modules.

Each meditation has a different purpose and will bring you a lot of joy and benefits.

Meditations of the 5 Elements

Meditation of earth

This meditation will teach you stability, perseverance and resistance but will also eliminates procrastination and doubts

Meditation of wáter

The meditation of water is all about emotions, flexibility, capacity of adaptation and the nature of flowing. You will be able to control emotions like anger, fear, hate, envy, jealousy and sadness

Meditation of fire

Fire is the element of transformation. This lesson will teach you how to transform your negative emotions and thoughts into the positive opposites. It also teaches how to increase your energy and stamina.

Meditation of Air

As the air penetrates all, you will learn how to become immune to other peoples negative energy, not getting trapped by energy vampires. Air is all about letting go and not getting absorbed or stuck in static energy. Air will teach you how to be free from external situations.

Meditation of void

When the 4 elements come together, they create the void. This is the element of possibilities. This is where everything is created. The void element will release the magician in you. This element will set the spiritual environment for you to start understanding the underlying principles of energy manipulation. You will learn how the elements interact and combine in an efficient way so you can start creating a new reality.

The 5 meditations of the elements are very powerful if you practice them regularly. Our masters at Terra Incognita keep practicing these meditations almost daily.

Some of the “side effects” several of our disciples experienced after months of meditating are increase of energy, inner peace, clairvoyance, mental connection with other people of the same or higher level.

Meditations of the 7 Olympic Spirits

After this first set of 5 meditations you will start with the Meditations of the 7 Olympic Spirits. You will connect to each of them and will learn about them directly as they will show themselves to you on an energy level. The better you know them, the easier it will be to work with them in the next modules.

Olympic Spirit Phaleg

Sandra C.: "Phaleg's meditation imbued me with the strength to tackle life's obstacles with valor and assertiveness. The entire module is a well-curated spiritual toolkit that enhances one's self-esteem and decision-making capabilities, enriching both my personal and professional life with enduring courage and dynamic willpower."

Phaleg, also known as "The Warlike," is one of the seven Olympic Spirits outlined in the Arbatel De Magia veterum, an occult work that was first published in Latin in 1575. This book, centered on spiritual philosophy, assigns one Olympic Spirit to each of the seven "planetary" spheres known at the time: the Moon, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.

Phaleg corresponds to the sphere of Mars, often associated with qualities such as strength, power, and conflict. According to the Arbatel, Phaleg rules over matters that are warlike, martial, and conflict-oriented.

In terms of hierarchy, the Arbatel describes the Olympic Spirits as ruling over the 196 provinces that the world is divided into, with seven spirits each governing a proportion of these provinces. Since Phaleg is one of these seven Olympic Spirits, he is depicted as having considerable influence and command.

Given the sphere he represents, Phaleg is often invoked or petitioned for his ability to provide courage, to resolve conflicts, or to grant martial prowess.

Olympic Spirit Ophiel

Lucas M.: "The intellectual clarity gained from Ophiel's meditation is extraordinary. It has sharpened my mind, allowing for swift and agile thinking. As a student, this practice has been invaluable, providing a clear mental canvas for learning and creativity, and enhancing my academic performance significantly."

Ophiel is one of the seven Olympic Spirits, ancient entities that are invoked in spiritual or magical ceremonies. The Olympic Spirits are said to govern the seven classical planets recognized in astrology. These spirits are mentioned in the "Arbatel of Magic", a Renaissance-period grimoire or book of magic.

Ophiel is considered the governor of Mercury and his name translates to "the helper of God". As Mercury is associated with communication, intellect, and learning, the powers associated with Ophiel often revolve around these areas. Those who seek to communicate more effectively, to gain knowledge, or to improve their learning abilities may invoke Ophiel.

Ophiel's abilities may include:

  • Enhancing intellectual abilities: As the spirit of Mercury, Ophiel is believed to have the power to help individuals improve their intellectual capabilities.
  • Fostering effective communication: Ophiel is often called upon to improve both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and learning: People might seek Ophiel's help in matters of education, learning, and understanding complex concepts.
  • Assistance in magic: Some practitioners believe that Ophiel has the power to teach magic and assist in magical workings.

The hierarchy of the Olympic Spirits, including Ophiel, is primarily derived from the "Arbatel of Magic". In this hierarchy, each spirit governs a specific classical planet. As the spirit of Mercury, Ophiel's position in the hierarchy is linked to the importance and influences of this planet.

Olympic Spirit Phul

Hannah L.: "Phul's meditation has brought a gentle, moon-like quality to my life. I’ve become more reflective and attuned to the rhythms of nature and my own emotions. The module fostered a tranquil acceptance of life's natural cycles, bringing about a serene approach to personal changes and relationships."

Phul is one of the seven Olympic Spirits mentioned in several Renaissance and post-Renaissance books of ritual magic/ceremonial magic, such as the Arbatel de magia veterum, The Secret Grimoire of Turiel and The Complete Book of Magic Science.

Phul is considered the ruler of the Moon and governs all things under its influence. He is said to have power over water and the seas, and has the ability to heal and cure humans of all diseases, especially those associated with fluid imbalances or emotional disorders.

In addition to these, Phul can also transform any material object into silver (an influence of his lunar rulership), control the ebb and flow of emotions, and inspire a deeper understanding of the subconscious mind.

In the hierarchy of Olympic spirits, Phul is one of the seven governors, with each Olympic Spirit corresponding to one of the seven classical Planets of astrology. Being the governor of the Moon, Phul is typically invoked or petitioned for issues dealing with intuition, emotions, the subconscious, dreams, healing, and divination.

Olympic Spirit Och

Michael D.: "Engaging with the meditation of the Olympic Spirit Och has been transformative. It’s like the sun’s rays infusing life into my daily endeavors, bringing about a burst of creative energy and a more vibrant outlook on life. This practice has been a catalyst for joy and inspiration."

Och is one of the seven Olympic Spirits, who, according to the "Arbatel De magia veterum" (Arbatel: Of the Magic of the Ancients), a Renaissance-era grimoire, are under the rule of the spirit Aratron. In magical tradition, the Olympic Spirits are each associated with a particular planet, and Och is tied to the Sun.

Och is a very significant figure within this tradition, often depicted as a ruler who has power over life and death. Being linked to the Sun, Och is associated with light, energy, warmth, and illumination, which signifies enlightenment and growth.

Och's primary powers relate to providing wisdom, longevity, and health. He can bestow great understanding and knowledge of the liberal arts and sciences, making his followers very knowledgeable in these areas. His healing powers are believed to be exceptional, with the ability to cure any illness and prolong life up until the end of the world. Moreover, he can transmute metals into pure gold, linking him with wealth and abundance.

In terms of hierarchy, Och is considered one of the most powerful among the seven Olympic Spirits. Each of these spirits rules over a multitude of other spirits and Och, specifically, rules over 365,520 spirits. These spirits are further organized into orders or groups, with Och presiding over them. As such, Och holds a very high position in the hierarchy of the Olympic Spirits.

Olympic Spirit Hagith

Alex G.: "The Meditation of Bethor has revealed to me a world where prosperity is in harmony with the spiritual path. This profound insight has shifted my understanding of success, infusing my aspirations with a sense of purpose and clarity that extends beyond material wealth."

Hagith is one of the seven Olympic Spirits, which were detailed in several Renaissance and post-Renaissance books of ritual magic/ceremonial magic, such as the 'Arbatel de magia veterum'.

Hagith governs Venus, and therefore, rules over love, beauty, harmony, and all things related to these domains. It's said that Hagith has the power to transmute any metal into copper and to transform any stone into a precious gem. These transformative abilities symbolize change, growth, and enhancement, which is inherent to the love and beauty Hagith governs.

In the hierarchy of the Olympic Spirits, each Spirit rules over a particular celestial body. For Hagith, it is Venus, as mentioned earlier. Each of these Spirits also has a number of Provinces (or domains) they preside over, with Hagith possessing 4,000. These Provinces can be interpreted as realms or areas of influence over which the Spirit holds dominion.

As with other Olympic Spirits, practitioners of ceremonial magic know that they can invoke Hagith for assistance in matters related to love, beauty, and personal transformation. The spirit is generally depicted as a beautiful, androgynous figure, reflecting its association with the feminine aspects of love and beauty.

Olympic Spirit Bethor

Julia R.: "Exploring Hagith’s meditation has opened my eyes to the beauty surrounding us and the beauty within. This element of the module has nurtured an innate appreciation for harmony, grace, and art in everyday life, enriching my interactions and fueling my passions with a newfound love."

Bethor is considered one of the seven Olympic Spirits in the Arbatel de magia veterum (Arbatel: Of the Magic of the Ancients), a Renaissance-period grimoire (a textbook of magic) that serves as a foundational work in the study of Western magical tradition. It was first published in Latin in Switzerland in the 16th century and lays out a system of celestial magic through invocations of the "Olympic spirits."

In the hierarchy of these spirits, each Olympic Spirit is associated with a particular planet. Bethor is correlated with Jupiter. As such, Bethor rules over all matters that are in the dominion of Jupiter, often symbolizing expansion, growth, and abundance.

The powers attributed to Bethor are largely around imparting wisdom and knowledge, bestowing riches, and reconciling differences between friends and foes. According to the Arbatel, Bethor can "raise the magician to great heights" in terms of societal status and wealth. Moreover, Bethor is said to command 42 legions of spirits and can reveal the magician's familiar spirits that can assist in their magical workings.

As is the case with other Olympic spirits, Bethor should be invoked on the day of his planetary correspondence (Thursday, in his case), and preferably in the planetary hour. The sigil, or seal, of Bethor is used in rituals to help focus the spirit's power and establish a connection for communication.

Olympic Spirit Aratron

Emily T.: "Aratron’s meditation taught me the invaluable lesson of embracing structure and patience. The module’s focus on discipline has not only enhanced my self-confidence but has also instilled a resilience that empowers me to overcome adversity with a calm and steadfast approach."

As for the powers or qualities attributed to Aratron, they might vary slightly depending on the source, but in general, these are some common attributions:

  1. Teaching Magic: Aratron is often believed to have the power to teach natural magic and alchemy.
  2. Transmutation: Related to his connection with alchemy, Aratron is sometimes said to be able to turn any metals into pure gold, as well as transform any object into stone instantly.
  3. Command Over Spirits: As an Olympic spirit, Aratron has command over various spirits or entities, often those associated with the sphere of Saturn.
  4. Mastery Over Time: This power is derived from Aratron's connection to Saturn, a planet traditionally associated with time in astrology.
  5. Knowledge and Wisdom: Aratron is often sought for wisdom and knowledge in various fields, particularly the occult.
  6. Agriculture: Some sources suggest that Aratron has the power to make barren lands fertile, a power associated with his planetary ruler, Saturn, which governs agriculture and growth.

"Terra Incognita has fostered an incredible journey of self-discovery. The meditative practices rooted in ancient wisdom have not only opened my consciousness but have also created a bridge to deeper self-understanding and calmness. The systematic approach to integrating the elements with spiritual energies has brought me to a place of peace and connectedness I hadn't known was attainable. This program is a treasure trove for anyone seeking to deepen their meditative practice and life awareness. – Sarah L."

There is no doubt that the powers of the 7 Olympic Spirits are universal and affect positively all aspects of our life. These powers are not difficult to master but require a lot of practice. They will only show to you the powers you are able to understand. The deepness of their connection and teaching to you depend completely on your own level.

Grace K.: "The individual benefits of each Olympic Spirit meditation have combined to form a comprehensive framework for personal equilibrium. The strength from Phaleg and the luminosity from Och, in particular, have been transformative, catalyzing profound shifts in my self-perception and life approach."

How to Proceed through module 1?

All lessons are presented in the correct order. Don’t skip a lesson because it is difficult or you are not much interested in it. The most difficult or boring lessons are the best ones to learn from. Internal resistance is a perfect indicator that there is a lot of work to be done in a particular aspect.

Several additional meditations are provided separate from the main lessons. I suggest you do them all. They are provided to reinforce the main lesson.

When you complete the last meditation, I suggest you start all over again at lesson one and you will discover a whole new world and understanding of the spirits and energies. It will only benefit you.

If you are in a haste to continue, you can continue to module 2. This module will align you with each power of each of the 7 Olympic Spirits. You will receive the

  1. ALIGNMENT WITH BETHOR

  2. ALIGNMENT WITH HAGITH

  3. ALIGNMENT WITH PHUL

  4. ALIGNMENT WITH OPHIEL

  5. ALIGNMENT WITH OCH

  6. ALIGNMENT WITH ARATRON

  7. ALIGNMENT WITH PHALEG

I strongly advise against rushing through the modules and lessons or sooner or later you will have to start all over again. Impatience is the worst emotion for a practitioner of magic. Impatience will lead to deception, less energy and power and failing rituals and spells

Richard H.: "Beginning with the Meditations of the 5 Elements laid the groundwork for an intimate understanding of my core self, which enriched my experiences with the subsequent meditations of the 7 Olympic Spirits. The combination has been instrumental in fostering a well-rounded and robust personal development."

When is the best time to do the meditations?

There is no best time. It depends on your possibilities. Some people prefer to meditate in the morning, like myself. Other meditate in the evening, some people even set an alarm clock to meditate in the middle of the night. It’s all up to you but…..

Meditate at least once a day for as long as you feel. In the beginning you maybe only last 5 minutes, or 15. No problem. It’s better 5 minutes of true dedicated meditation than 30 min, sitting and doing nothing.

Meditate every day at least once, strive for meditation sessions of 20 – 30 minutes and practice. This module was done by our most skilled student with a meditation background in 1 year. Most students need between 13 – 18 months to complete this module on a satisfactory level.

Conclusion of module 1

An integral aspect of our teaching methodology is our first rule:

"NO QUESTIONS ALLOWED."

This might seem unusual, but we assure you it's crucial and beneficial.

Let's delve into the reason behind it. Every meditation operates on three planes:

  • Physical
  • Mental
  • Spiritual or energy level

Often, we rely heavily on our analytical minds, which inhibits our spirit from experiencing without the constraints of our learned mental parameters. One of my mentors, years ago, advised me, "If you wish to master magic, leave your intellect behind. Feel, experience, and let your spirit lead. Comprehension will follow in due course."

So, you're here to educate your spirit, not merely your intellect. Questions often result in more confusion than clarity. Only disciples who have ascended to the junior master level may pose questions.

This concludes the introduction to module 1
